Updates to South River Miso Pricing, Ordering Options and Shipping
The price of miso purchased in individual glass jars will increase, effective February 13, 2026. This change reflects the continued increase in our ingredient and overhead costs.
Please note: We are introducing ways for customers to offset this price increase by offering discounts through our new bundle options.

Expanded Shipping Options
In addition to UPS ground, we are now able to include USPS ground and UPS 2nd Day Air as shipping options. In order to find the most economical and speedy method of delivery for each individual order, our website is now set up to automatically select the best shipping service, depending upon the customer’s delivery address and order contents.
These changes will result in overall decreases in shipping costs for our customers!
Order Packaging
Our new shipping packaging is a pioneering compostable foam made from upcycled food waste.
This new packaging will provide better protection and insulation for the miso, and make a more compact outer package, further reducing shipping costs.
